A couple of reminders

We have a meeting coming up NEXT WEEK at Norma’s house, on Monday at 7:30 for HH4H.ca  Be sure to bring all your ticket money with you!

Also, next week, the Hooter Hoedown is on at the Community Centre.  Buy your tickets, buy some for friends, come and have a great time in support of finding a cure for Breast Cancer.  Remember this is one of Heather’s Favoured charities.  Bring your wallets, and your dancing shoes!

The Fresh Ayr Festival

The FAF was last weekend, and Heather received the Ayr Head of the Year Award on Stage in the morning.  Congratulations to Heather for everything she has done, and everything she’s given to the community.

Rogers Community Television

 

Karen you looked and sounded wonderful on TV today.  You spoke of Heather with such love and humour.  I am sure that lots of us got to see the interview live, for those of you that didn’t it was on Daytime on Rogers Community TV .  It will repeat today at 11:00 .  Heather’s story was a focus of the show.  Unfortunately their site doesn’t allow people to watch repeats of the show.  Tune in and watch Karen and Beverely Mahood talk about the Hootenanny.

They are finally available…yes…the new shirts are in.  You can get one from anyone on the organizing committee or call Lynn at Music Plus.  They are stunningly beautiful, though I fear that none of us will wear it as nicely as Heather!

Buy soon, quantities are limited.  They are $20 each all profits going to ALS research.

The Meeting

We had a great meeting last night, blocking out the locations of the venue, and confirming with Liz our Paris Fairgrounds contact all of the ‘nitty gritty’ details of the event. 

It’s shaping up to be super.  Let’s keep the vibe good and the energy level high.  The next meeting date hasn’t been confirmed yet, but I will keep you all posted.

REMINDER

A missive from our leader Lynn!!

A reminder that the meeting tonight is at the fairgrounds at 7pm.  We are seeing all the parts of the facility, including the kitchen!

Any items requiring attention tonight, please email me and we shall briefly discuss, etc whilst in Paris. 

If you are not able to be there, please email me by 4:30pm, so we don’t wait for your arrival!

I know Lana is not there this evening and that Italian girl, Heathereno, and her friend, Shaylee!
